Meet Our Team

Lorine Cady
Founder of House of Grace
On May 6, 1985, Mrs. Cady held a public meeting to address the growing needs of domestic violence victims. Recognizing the urgent need for support, she founded House of Grace, an organization that has transformed the lives of countless survivors across North Mississippi. She faithfully served as Executive Director until her retirement in 2021.
A dedicated servant leader, Mrs. Cady also played a pivotal role in Southaven's early development. Following the city's incorporation in 1980, she served seven terms on the Board of Aldermen (1985–2013), helping guide the city's remarkable growth and expansion of services. Through her leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to others, she leaves a lasting legacy of service and hope.
Together, our team continues Mrs. Cady's mission by working everyday to provide safety, advocacy, education, and hope for survivors throughout Mississippi.
