We are excited to share that House of Grace was recently featured on The Local Yokel’s Podcast, a show that highlights the stories and missions of local businesses, nonprofits, and leaders making a difference in DeSoto County, Mississippi. Hosted by Neil Colley, the podcast works to strengthen community connection and promote growth by giving organizations like ours the opportunity to share our impact and vision.
During the episode, we had the privilege of speaking about the work House of Grace is doing to support survivors of domestic violence. We discussed the critical services we provide—including emergency shelter, food, clothing, counseling, and resources that help survivors build new lives free from abuse. Just as importantly, we were able to share the hope and healing that so many survivors experience through our programs.
Being part of The Local Yokel’s Podcast was more than just an interview—it was an opportunity to raise awareness about domestic violence in our community and to remind others that help is available. Every time we share our mission, we open the door for someone in need to find safety, and we inspire others to get involved in supporting survivors.
We are grateful to Neil Colley and The Local Yokel’s Podcast for giving House of Grace a platform to tell our story. By shining a light on the issue of domestic violence, they are helping us reach more people and create meaningful change in DeSoto County and beyond.
You can listen to our episode now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. We hope you’ll tune in, share it with friends and family, and join us in spreading awareness and hope.
💜 Together, we can make a difference.
