1. Overview

House of Grace is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence. In addition to receiving charitable donations, we sell merchandise and organize fundraising events to support our mission. This Refunds & Returns Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for refunds and product returns.

We are committed to treating our supporters fairly while maintaining the financial integrity of our nonprofit operations.

2. Donations

All donations made through www.houseofgracedv.org are considered charitable contributions to House of Grace, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

❌ Donations are Non-Refundable

Once a donation is processed, it cannot be refunded, except in the event of a proven technical error (such as duplicate or unauthorized charges).

If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction at executivedirector@houseofgracedv.org. We will review your request and respond promptly.

3. Merchandise Returns & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your item, you may be eligible for a return or exchange under the terms below.

✔️ Eligible Items:

  • Merchandise (e.g., apparel, accessories, printed materials) purchased directly from our website.

❌ Ineligible Items:

  • Digital products/downloadables

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Customized or personalized items

  • Tickets to fundraising events (unless canceled by House of Grace)

4. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must initiate the return within 14 days of receiving your item.

  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact.

  • Items must be returned with proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

5. Return & Refund Process

To start a return:

  1. Email us at executivedirector@houseofgracedv.org with:

    • Your name and order number

    • Reason for return

    • Photos (if the item is damaged or defective)

  2. We will respond within 3 business days with return instructions and a return address.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.

  4. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (depending on your bank or credit card issuer).

6. Return Shipping Costs

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:

    • A defective or damaged item

    • An incorrect item sent by House of Grace

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if you need a different size (subject to availability). Email us within 14 days of receipt to request an exchange.

8. Event Refunds

  • Tickets to fundraising events are non-refundable unless the event is canceled or rescheduled by House of Grace.

  • If an event is canceled, we will offer a full refund or the option to convert your ticket into a donation.
